Community Advocacy Tender - St Mungos looking for partners
St Mungo’s is scoping out our ability to deliver a Community Advocacy Service with partners as part of a current tender process.
The service being commissioned will:
- Focus on early access for people who do not meet critical and substantial Fair Access to Care Services (FACS) criteria.
- Facilitate self-help and early intervention by promoting effective access to support services.
- Operate as an umbrella service to provide the widest reach, promote social inclusion, equity and high quality services across all communities, monitoring uptake of the service by cultural diversity group and client group.
The Advocacy Service will be provided to residents aged 18 years of age or over, their families and carers who need additional advice and representation to that which is generally available. It will also help service users and carers to navigate self-directed care and have satisfactory problem resolution.
We are very interested in hearing from partners who could support us to deliver an innovative service under a spot purchasing arrangement and would very much like to hear back from you. If you are interested in this opportunity to either create a new service or expand your existing services. Please fill out this short survey that is attached http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MRL2VLC by 12pm Friday 02nd March 2012.
By completing the survey we will presume you are willing for us to include you in our tender document and if we are successful you will have capacity to commence delivery of the service from October 2012.
