LBH Market Position Statement
Source By: LBH London Borough of Hackney

Increasing demand, greater numbers of personal budget holders and restricted local government expenditure herald significant changes to the social care market in coming years, according to Hackney Council’s first ever social care Market Position Statement (Word, 1.4KB).

London Borough of Hackney must respond to these changes by fostering a care and support supplier market fit to deliver services over the next 5-10 years.

Our Market Position Statement (Word, 1.4KB) is designed to foster a healthy supplier market by providing key intelligence to current and potential providers to help them:

- Make active business & investment decisions
- Respond to opportunities around self-directed support
- Avoid wasting resources on poorly targeted initiatives

Please find attached: Hackney's Market Position Statement. This was formally launched at our event at the Tomlinson Centre at 2pm on Thursday, 13th February.
