Older People
Chair: Olexandra Stepaniuk, Age Concern Hackney
The Older People's Special Interest Group elected its Chair, Olexandra Stepaniuk, in 2005, and has representatives sitting on 6 different sub-groups, as well as the main Older People's Board.
Representatives give regular feedback from these groups at the bi-monthly meetings of the OPSIG and the group discusses issues facing the sector as a whole. External speakers are invited to talk to the group about particular policies or strategies, such as Choice Based Lettings.
